JII 900 Series of Automation Welders

Seidensha’s line-up of light-weight, mid-power 900W welders combine our specialized,

compact components with a host of features to streamline your assembly process.

Multiple Frequency Options

Choosing the right frequency for your application is just as important as using the right parameter.

We offer our JII line-up in three distinct frequencies: 19.15kHz, 28.5kHz, and 39.5kHz. Each frequency has its own niche, making the 900 Series a terrific option for a variety of mid-power welding scenarios.

The JII 97XSA also offers BOTH 28.5kHz and 39.5kHz on a single generator, the first of its

kind in the industry. This makes the 97X ideal for automated applications where a single

Generator controls multiple Transducers assembling parts of different materials (Ex. PP

and ABS).

Multiple Weld Mode

The JII Series of welders allow for multiple welding modes and set-up

configurations to meet the needs of every job.

Continuous – The welder oscillates for an extended period, though at half of the

maximum available amplitude, power, and energy.

Time – The welder will oscillate up to a preset amount of time between 0.01 second

thru 9.99 seconds

Energy – The welder will oscillate up to a preset consumed energy, allowing for

increased repeatability regardless of the condition of the work-piece.

Power – The welder will oscillat up to a preset consumed power, preventing the unit for

marring uneven surfaces.

AND/OR Configuration – Allows the welder to combine the functionality of each weld mode

to maximize the quality of the finished weld.

Multiple Types of I/O for PLC Communication

The JII Series can be equipped with several types of I/O to be used with industrial PLCs.

We offer Discrete I/O, EtherNet IP, CC Link, and Industrial CC Link.

External Transducer Switch – JII-SIU

In order to reduce costs, fabricators often opt to have a single Ultrasonic Generator control multiple transducer units in sequence. While this adds to the overall cycle time, this is a cost-effective way of addressing applications where having a 1:1 of Generators to Transducers isn’t feasible due to space, design, or budget. Seidensha offers an external switch box that can be daisy chained one after the other to allow a maximum of ten (10) Transducer units to be controlled from a single generator.

Multi-Parameter Settings Every

JII welder can store up to thirty-two (32) different parameter settings. This is ideal for use with systems connecting a single Generator to multiple Transducers, giving you the ability to weld with specific weld conditions for each point.
